Adelaide United re-signs with Veolia

Adelaide United FC is thrilled to announce that Veolia has furthered its commitment to the club as a major partner, by continuing to feature on the ‘front of shirt’ for a further two seasons.

On the back of an exciting season both on and off the field, Veolia is delighted to continue their partnership with Adelaide United in supporting the South Australian community and encouraging young people to get involved in football.

Both Adelaide United and Veolia share a common goal, to contribute to the community not just in South Australia but the Northern Territory, where the club has invested significant resources to develop a football program to encourage participation for the world game.

Laurie Kozlovic, Veolia’s Executive General Manager for Western Region, said Veolia is excited to again be part of Adelaide United Football Club.

“Veolia is delighted to be named as major partner of Adelaide United Football Club for the upcoming 2014/15 season. With a number of facilities both in South Australia and the Northern Territory, we are proud that through Adelaide United FC, we can give back to the community that has afforded us so much.

“This partnership forms a strategic fit to our business, as it allows us to engage with the local community through fan-focused competitions and initiatives; further driving the Veolia brand among supporters of what is fast becoming Australia’s largest growing team sport. This coupled with the ability to engage our future football stars by way of skills clinics in central Australia, firms up Veolia’s commitment to supporting grass-roots campaigns right across Australia.

“We encourage all South Australians to get behind Adelaide United FC!”

Adelaide United Club Chairman, Greg Griffin welcomed Veolia’s commitment and extension of the successful partnership.

“To have such an internationally well respected company as Veolia re-commit to be our major partner is a great honour. It shows that our sport can provide the type of strategic alliances which can benefit our corporate partners whilst providing the club the resources to continue to grow football and our brand as a major player within the sports industry not only within the State but right across Australia.” Mr Griffin said.

“On behalf of the Board, the players, staff and fans of the Adelaide United Football Club I’d like to thank Mr. Kozlovic for his continued support. We look forward to continuing the excellent relationship established with Veolia over the course of the next two Hyundai A-League seasons as our front of shirt sponsor and major partner.”

In recognition of the partnership extension, the Reds will wear a Veolia branded strip for the remainder of the club’s FFA Cup campaign as well as their recent tour of the Northern Territory.
